My day to day involves helping clients setup their data transformation pipelines in Google Cloud, performing R&D with latest [modern data stack](https://publish.obsidian.md/rambunctious-ruminations/Data+Management/Honest+Thoughts+about+the+Modern+Data+Stack) tooling and playing a just-healthy amount of table tennis with colleagues. #### Towards Tech for Sustainability My most recent interest is in trying to understand how I can possibly use my growing skills in tech to work on meaningful solutions towards a more sustainable economy. I would like a career in the same. I am no expert in sustainability or economics at the moment. But, I feel I can improve my understanding by learning about this via books, courses and articles. I intend to publish my learnings over the internet as a part of this. ### Recreational #### Blogging I am making attempts to write at least some piece of content whenever I can. Principles guiding my writing - Write bad drafts, edit later - Don't censor my own writing i.e stay clear of thoughts such as "ooh, would my colleagues judge me for my views on tool X?" Or "ooh, I am not an influencer, who will read my articles on life" - Kill my babies i.e if I see some piece of content no longer gives me joy when I write it, I will just stop developing it any further - Write about anything that interests me; screw the templates, screw the formats - Don't care about publishing. Just write. I maintain two Substack publications where I write some of my more *for-public-consumption* pieces. - [Ram's Mental Gym](https://ramshankaryadhunath.substack.com/) (More frequently updated) - [The Data, climate and AI journal](https://ramlearnsclimateandai.substack.com/) (Sporadically updated) Eventually, both Substacks might merge to be the same. #### Cricket in London I have started playing club cricket this year (summer of 2024).
